Bel Air Ski & Snowboard Club Winter 2019-2020

An email has been sent notifying members that the February 6th trip has been canceled and will be moved, date TBD. Once all approvals are made with Harford County Public Schools an email will be sent with the new date.
Ski Club is for any interested 6-12 graders from any school in Bel Air and is chaperoned by parent volunteers. We go to Ski Roundtop 4 times (2 Thursdays and 2 Fridays) after school, leaving from Southampton Middle School at 3:15pm and return around 10pm on Thursdays and 11pm on Friday trips.
Registration is a two-step process and instructions for both are below. First, register for the bus through Bel Air Rec which is on a first come, first serve basis and separate from the Roundtop registration/ticket purchase. The bus fee is $90.00 (covers all 4 trips) and we use charter buses. The second step is registration with Roundtop for your ski/snowboard package. Our club participates in the Roundtop Night Tracker Card Program that allows you to purchase different packages only available through the club which are explained on the website listed below along with pricing. Roundtop also offers great, quality helmets to purchase as part of the registration at a discounted rate. Please consider purchasing one if you do not already have one.
Kids can bring their own equipment or rent from Roundtop and we recommend that kids have a ski buddy because it is a safe practice to have one while on the slopes and it makes it more fun! There will be chaperones out on the slopes but they cannot be skiing with individual kids.

Step #1 – Bus registration on line. Registration opens up Saturday, October 5th at 8am.
This registration is first come, first serve and you must pay when registering. Go to www.belairrec.org and go to REGISTER and scroll down to Ski & Snowboard Club option. Go to the green register icon and click on it to proceed. Please be sure to enter a valid email address and cell number for you and your child for texts and emails.
Parents please do not sign up your kids if you know they will only be able to go on a couple trips. We have a waitlist every year and then kids that only come once or twice. There are no refunds for missing trips.

Please be aware that Vail Properties is still going through the process of purchasing Ski Roundtop With this purchase, there is currently NOT AN OPTION TO BUY TICKETS ONLINE YET at the Ski Roundtop website. I will email all club members when the website is up and running for all of our club members to purchase the Night Tracker Cards… THIS WILL NOT AFFECT YOUR REGISTRATION WITH BEL AIR REC)
Step #2 – Roundtop Ski Registration- please purchase your passes through our Club Login. This helps us garner passes for our chaperones to ski to monitor your kids safety as well as lets us track and assist if there are any issues with passes.
There is a discounted price with Roundtop before November 17, 2019. Night Tracker Cards (only available to purchase through the club) begins January, 2, 2020 and are valid for the remainder of the winter, including Holidays. Hours for Night Tracker cards are Mon-Sat 4p-10p and Sunday 3p-10p. Night Tracker Cards are not valid for late night special events or snow tubing. NOTE: Night Tracker Cards are only being offered for kids ages 8-18. If you prefer to buy a pass other than the Night Tracker Card, you are free to do that – just please make me aware of what you purchased.
